Black Origami opens dark and intense with truffle, ylang-ylang, gardenia, and jasmine, along with blackcurrant and citrus. The combination creates an earthy, rich, and somewhat mysterious floral character where the truffle can feel unusually prominent before the scent softens.
In the drydown, chocolate, patchouli, vanilla, incense, amber, sandalwood, musk, and vetiver emerge, making the composition warmer, darker, and more woody. The result is very close to Tom Ford Black Orchid but generally feels somewhat simpler, softer, and less complex than the original.
