Moonstone Bleu opens fresh and unusually with aldehydes, metallic and watery notes along with violet leaf, cardamom, and black pepper. The result is clean, spicy, and slightly metallic with a clear, classic barbershop character.
In the heart, lavender and beeswax take a more prominent role alongside lime, cyclamen, and a light leather tone. The drydown becomes softer and warmer with white musk, honey, oakmoss, cedarwood, patchouli, tonka bean, vanilla, amber, gurjun balsam, and myrrh. The result is an aromatic and powdery fougère with woody warmth and a strong resemblance to Penhaligon's Sartorial.
