Island Dreams opens with an intense, fresh burst of citrus from bergamot and warm, slightly spicy ginger. Quite quickly, grapefruit takes over and becomes the most prominent characteristic of the scent – tart, lively, and almost effervescent rather than sweet or tropical.
As the fragrance dries down, ambroxan and musk become more noticeable, providing a clean, soft, and slightly soapy base for the citrus. The result is a bright and energetic citrus fragrance with grapefruit at its heart, spicy ginger, and a modern musky drydown. It is significantly more citrusy and aromatic than actually aquatic.
