Oud Madness opens explosively with sweet and sour passion fruit along with other tropical fruit notes, saffron, and Turkish rose. The bright fruit quickly meets a darker heart where oud, earthy patchouli, and warm benzoin create a clear contrast between fruity sweetness and drier woodiness.
In the drydown, leather, Akigalawood, and amber become more prominent while vanilla and labdanum round off the composition with warmth and sweetness. The result is an intensely fruity oud with leather, dark wood tones, and sweet amber – significantly more challenging than a typical fruity perfume.
