Royal Blend Bourbon opens intensely with warm cinnamon bark against cool peppermint and aromatic basil. Fairly quickly, bourbon whiskey takes over, imparting a dark, distinctly alcoholic character that is more reminiscent of a glass of whiskey and an oak barrel than a classic sweet gourmand.
Lavender softens the heart slightly before oakwood and Peru balsam create a dry, warm, and resinous drydown. Many also perceive dark chocolate or caramel sweetness despite these not being among the official notes, which gives the fragrance a unique whiskey, wood, and chocolate-like feel.
